Conference Objectives

Understand the concept and advantages of adaptive platform trials over traditional randomized controlled trials

Understand the statistical methods used in adaptive platform trials, including Bayesian methods and sequential hypothesis testing

Identify the practical challenges associated with adaptive platform trials and learn how to address them
Abstract Guidelines
You are invited to submit an abstract for the Adaptive Platform Trial Scientific Meeting.
Research can be completed or in progress and must use an adaptive platform trial design to be considered. First, fill out the submission form with information about your paper. Complete one form for each paper and do not resubmit it. Contact us at info@cantreatcovid.org if you run into any difficulties. Following the submission deadline, the organizing committee will send out acceptance notifications through email, along with details regarding the presentation format.
Please note that all presenters are required to register for the event.
Submissions need to include
- Presentation title
- Presenter name, email and affiliation/institution (limited to one presenter per paper)
- Co-author(s) name and affiliation/institution
- 500-word abstract with the following headings: Background, Approach, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Funding (if applicable)

APT Scientific Meeting Scholarship
We believe a diversity of skills, experiences, and viewpoints are needed to shape adaptive platform trials that can build a healthier world. We also believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue connections in the field, network with experts and peers, and build a career in research. To help break down the barriers that prevent underrepresented groups from attending leading conferences, we are excited to offer a scholarship for the APT Scientific Meeting.
